Mission Statement
The mission of George Hall Elementary Media Center is to provide a nurturing environment that empowers the school community to become critical thinkers and life-long learners through the effective use of information in various formats.

Vision Statement
George Hall Elementary Media Center’s vision is to offer each student the opportunity to become evaluators of information, develop an appreciation of literature and create an infinite love of reading. As a result, our students will become self-reliant, responsible and successful citizens of the community.  

Library Hours
Students in grades 3-5 may check out books from 8:30-2:30 during open circulation. Students in K-3 will visit the library weekly as a class from 8:45-9:15 or 9:30-10:00 for story time and to check out a library book.

Alabama Virtual Library
The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. Through the AVL, an equitable core of information sources are available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state.
